A single honeybee colony can visit up to 50 million flowers in a single day. As they forage for nectar and pollen, bees transfer pollen grains between flowers, enabling fertilization and fruit production. This process, called pollination, is the backbone of global agriculture. Crops like almonds, apples, blueberries, cucumbers, and squash rely almost entirely on bee pollination. In fact, the economic value of bee pollination services is estimated at over $235 billion annually worldwide.
